In this example, Posta? is like saying, “Really?” or “Are you serious?” expressing surprise or doubt.
You can also use it to reinforce what you’re saying:
No, te lo estoy diciendo posta. Pasó en serio.
(No, I’m telling you posta. It really happened.)
